Can't attend in person? Be with us for the iconic Monterey Design Conference, but experience it from the comfort of your home or office.
Enjoy all of MDC's lively lectures livestreamed from Merrill Hall, watch our MDC live cam, enjoy virtual networking opporutunities and chat with fellow registrants through a special online portal. Four Zero Net Carbon Design CE sessions will also be livestreamed from Merrill Hall and are included in the virtual conference pass.

What does my in person registration fee include?
Fee includes lectures in Merrill Hall, additional MDC Academy CE sessions, social receptions and events.
For those staying on property, meals are included with your housing costs at Asilomar. Friday/Saturday evening stays include the following meals (Friday lunch, Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast, lunch and dinner, and Sunday breakfast).
Please note: Meals are not included in the cost of registration. If you are staying off property and wish to participate in the meals, you will want to purchase meal tickets when you register.
Flexible Cancellation Policy
We are excited to be back in person this year and hope you’re able to join us in person or virtually! We know things come up especially in the post-pandemic world – so MDC is offering a very flexible cancellation policy this year.
Cancelling Your In-Person Pass
In-person attendees may cancel at anytime up through September 30 and receive a full refund or you may opt to switch to virtual and receive a refund for the difference in pricing. Starting October 1, in-person attendees may switch to virtual and receive a refund for the difference in pricing. If you wish to cancel alltogether, there is a$100 fee after Oct 1. Substitutions may be made at anytime (adjustment for member/non-member pricing if applicable). For cancellations or substitutions contact Amy Orr at conferences@aiacalifornia.org
Cancelling Your Virtual Pass
Virtual attendee cancellations may be made at anytime prior to October 26 for a full refund minus a $100 procesing fee. Substitutions may be made at anytime (adjustment for member/non-member pricing if applicable).
