Attending in person? Registered attendees can obtain 5 ZNCD Units for free! That’s all ZNCD required for licensure in 2023. Curated specifically for MDC by William Leddy, FAIA, (Principal, 2017 AIA Firm Leddy Maytum Stacy Architects), ZNCD learning sessions are a conference within a conference featuring dynamic award-winning design leaders and sustainability innovators.

Full conference attendees can receive up to 22 AIA CE credits, as noted below, for sessions they attend in full. (For free/included in MDC Registration.) MDC learning sessions include all 5 hours of ZNCD (Zero Net Carbon Design) now required by CAB for 2023 licensure. (ZNCD courses also provide LU/HSW AIA units.) Looking for CA Accessibility courses? AIA CA will offer them on the AIA California On Demand platform powered by aecKnowledge. MDC attendees receive a 50% discount when registering for these virtual courses after the conference.

Health and Safety Protocols

As part of our commitment to the safety and health of attendees as we return in person for the 27th Monterey Design Conference, we are asking all attendees to provide proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test 72 hours before arrival (at home or PCR accepted) before checking in.

We will be using Health Pass by Crowdpass, which provides a secure, digital proof of COVID-related health insights via the this mobile app. Please complete your health screening ahead of time for expedited check-in and entry.  Watch your email for details.

We will also have masks on site for those who wish to wear them indoors.  Hand sanitizer will also be available upon entry at each conference room.
