Scott Joslyn is the Chief Information Officer of UCI Health. Reporting directly to the CEO, he is responsible for the delivery of IT and telecommunication services supporting patient care, research, education, administration, and IT’s overall effectiveness. As an IT leader, Scott oversees processes to promote scientific advancement and knowledge dissemination across the entire UCI campus, and he provides guidance in shaping the vision, policy direction, and development of technology strategies that help advance and differentiate the organization. Beyond IT, Scott is also responsible to develop and oversee UCI Health’s virtual care strategies and services.

Scott was formerly the Senior Vice President and CIO of MemorialCare, a large integrated health care delivery system with four hospitals and more than 220 sites of care that included 10 freestanding imaging centers and 9 freestanding ambulatory surgery centers. Scott was a board member of MemorialCare’s venture capital fund that invested in promising young companies developing products and services that are of commercial interest to the organization. Scott also oversaw the development and management of MemorialCare’s research function.

Scott holds a Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from the University of the Pacific, and a Master of Business Administration from UCLA. He has taught health care information technology at California State University, Long Beach, and the University of Southern California. He is an active member of multiple industry organizations.
