Christopher Hickman is an accomplished healthcare facility executive with more than 30 years of experience in planning, design, and construction. He currently serves as the Executive Director of Healthcare Project Management at UC San Diego, where he leads the delivery of complex capital projects that support the university’s mission to advance health through world-class care, research, and education. With a background in structural engineering and extensive experience in the not-for-profit healthcare sector, Chris is deeply committed to creating environments that enable safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care.
Throughout his career, Chris has overseen the successful completion of over 1 million square feet of healthcare facilities, valued at more than $1 billion.
