Mark Faucette, a Senior Director at Advocates for Human Potential (AHP), is currently working with the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) to implement the Behavioral Health Infrastructure Bond Act (BHIBA). This act authorizes $6.38 billion to invest in developing a wide range of behavioral health treatment, residential care settings, and supportive housing for Californians experiencing adverse mental health conditions and substance use disorders. Mark has over thirty years of experience working with state and local governments to establish permanent supportive housing residences for some of the most medically vulnerable individuals. His role as a co-founder of the Los Angeles Regional Reentry Partnership (LARRP), the most significant re-entry collaboration in the United States, is a testament to his dedication to social justice. Also, Mr. Faucette has published several papers with the UCLA School of Nursing focusing on health interventions for homeless men and women and formerly incarcerated individuals.
