Hollis Gentry is Sharp Healthcare’s Vice President of Facilities Management and Development (Sharp FMD), overseeing all real estate operations, design, construction, and maintenance of Sharp Healthcare hospitals, clinics, and office buildings. His role includes developing, implementing, and maintaining innovative facilities planning and design tools and processes for projects across the Sharp system and effectively delivering a capital plan.

Hollis comes to Sharp from the general and specialty contracting world, where he had more than 27 years of experience in design-build delivery, with more than 15 years of direct experience in the planning, design, and construction of California hospitals and healthcare facilities, including many key projects at Sharp Healthcare. These include Sharp Rees-Stealy medical offices, Sharp Coronado Hospital’s Sewall Healthy Living Center, Sharp Chula Vista’s Oceanview Tower, and the Sharp Metropolitan Medical Campus Master Plan.

Hollis holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accountancy, a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Real Estate Development, a Specialized Professional Certificate in HVAC System Design and Control, and an Associate DBIA Professional certification.
